In a week-long jury trial in Fulton Superior Court, we obtained a large jury verdict in favor of our client – a female political consultant on the team that won the 8-figure contract to redevelop Perry Homes. When the Atlanta Housing Authority selected the bid, the developers failed to pay our client her fee. There were no written agreements, which made the case difficult. Defendants won summary judgment. We had every judgment reversed in the Court of Appeals – and won at trial. Our client was awarded nearly every penny she sought, plus her attorney fees. The jury agreed to honor the developers promises and our client’s good-faith reliance on those promises. (link here to client quote #1 below)
We represented an inventor with hundreds of sensor-sorting technology patents sued by his former partners for fraud, breach of contract, commissions, and other claims. Plaintiffs filed three claims alleging over $20 M in damages, and two minor claims. We had the claims alleging $20 M in damages dismissed, which was affirmed on motion to reconsider.
